Detailed Description

The property, completed in 2012, is built as an L-shape, with the French doors in the Lounge issuing on to a Covered Patio. With the use of restrained archways, the Lounge, Dining Room and Kitchen form a continuous space.

Inside

The property has three exterior doors (in addition to the sliding glass French door to the Patio in the Lounge). Two doors lead to the Kitchen, and the main entrance leads into the Dining Room. These three doors are all constructed as split barn-type doors and are made of treated pine, as are all interior doors.

All rooms have ceramic tiled floors. In the Kitchen and En Suite, these are traditional square tiles – elsewhere, the tiles have a wood-effect surface and are shaped as interlocking floorboards. The Covered Patio has a flooring mix of ceramic tiles and natural stone tiles.

Hot water is provided by an electric immersion heater in a hot water tank located in the loft. A pull-switch shut-off is located in the En Suite bathroom and the heating control is located in the bedroom.

Outside

The plot is roughly rectangular, with the house erected towards the Eastern border. A short driveway leads from the public track to Boxwood Hill to the gravelled car park area.

To the front (East), the garden is laid to lawn with a border for flowering plants.
